A Perfect Sunday

This weekend was wonderful. (We headed to Utah for about 24 hours)  Overwhelmingly fast. But perfectly wonderful.
 For two reasons.
The first was that we were able to take little E with us and attend conference.  It was so incredible to see his face as he walked into the conference center.  He has seen it before, but not on a Sunday Conference morning filled with people.  He was pretty impressed.

One of the best experiences I have had.  It was perfect.   (Little E even took notes, I love that kid.) I was moved continually with everything that was said.  And I was so emotional when the Prophet walked in and the entire enormous conference center was completely still.  Nobody moved an inch.  It was very powerful.
The most memorable moment for me was hearing the choir sing "I Believe In Christ" at the close.  As tears streamed down my face, I felt the powerful strength and depth of my own testimony.  I left with the deep desire to live up to the blessings that I have been given in life.

While we were at Conference, C went and hung out with his cousins Jackson and Andrew.  Afterwords, we went and picked him up.
This leads me to the second reason we had such a great weekend.

We got to meet these two special little people.

Babies are one of the most precious things on earth. I could have held hem forever.  That day little Alivia was able to go home.  Little Conner still likes hanging out with the nurses too much to head home.  But hopefully soon!
It was so great to be able to meet them.
And the kids loved being able to play with their cousins Jackson and Andrew.

We left for Utah after soccer games on Saturday and got there at about 9:00 pm.  We left the next day at about 5:30 pm.  Brief, yes.  Am I glad we went? ABSOLUTELY!
